The following is a rather long unboxing video of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, the successor to the original Note. With a larger display, faster processor and Android 4.1, what is it really like?
Samsung continue to hit the headlines having released 2 very special devices amongst others within the last 24 hours.
The most talked about has to be the much rumoured Note 2, the successor to the original Note, yet the second generation got bigger and better going from a 5.3” display to 5.55” and from a dual-core to quad core processor.
Also announced was Samsung’s answer to Nikon’s Coolpix S800c. A 16 megapixel compact camera powered by Android. A fantastic sounding product, the features and opportunities such a camera brings is quite incredible.

We told you recently about a desktop cradle for the Samsung Galaxy range of devices that would hold it securely and keep it charged at the same time.
Made of metal and available in Black or Silver, they are unlike most desktop cradles that are available normally in one colour and made of plastic.
It has a microUSB connection at the bottom (with a USB connection at the other end) that can be used for charging the device or transferring data with a computer.
It is a universal cradle in the sense that it will work with the Galaxy Note, S2 and S3. It even accommodates devices with a case.
See the cradle unboxed and in use in the following video.

A metal desktop dock in either silver or black for the Samsung Galaxy range of devices, that will accommodate your device with a case on (subject to case size).
Be it a Galaxy S II, S III or Note that you have, the Konnet dock has a microUSB connector that the device sits on, the other end to which is a USB connector can be connected to a USB port on a computer or mains charger.
There are rubber feet on the bottom of the dock to keep the cradle secure on a desktop and being that it is a dock that accommodates devices with a microUSB connector on the bottom, it might just be suitable for your next device.

MHL is a new technology that became more common place back in 2011. We put together a full post explaining it MHL and what it can do HERE.
The Samsung Galaxy S II was one of the first devices with MHL capability and to date you have needed special adapters to connect an MHL enabled device to your PC monitor or TV. This is because you require power. Without the power and adapter the TV out function would not work.
