HTC Sensation MHL Demonstration

Hi everyone!

I noted that there isn’t much on Youtube showing the MHL feature of the HTC Sensation, so I thought I would post up a quick video showing it in use. Threw in a few other things, like Bluetooth Keyboard compatibility, emulator gaming with the Phonejoy controller, and HD-video out, just to give you an idea of what you can do with MHL.

Lots more stuff on the HTC Sensation on the way in the coming days and weeks, in particular how it fares against the Samsung Galaxy S II, so keep an eye out for more content soon! Don’t forget to post questions you have for me in relation to the comparison or Sensation here at the Clove blog.

Samsung Galaxy S II (SGSII/GT-I9100) MHL Gaming

One of the fantastic features of the Samsung Galaxy S II is its ability to handle TV out via a MHL cable.  Simply connect the MHL adaptor to the microUSB port of the Galaxy S II and connect a HDMI cable to the adapter and to a HDMI enabled screen and see everything on your Galaxy S II in high definition on a the display.

Murray has had his hands on with one of these adapters and in the following video shows a demonstration of the Samsung Galaxy S II connected to a HD television and playing games using an MHL cable whilst also showing how games look like when played on a big screen, but powered by the Galaxy S II.

**Please Note: While this video gives advice on rooting your handset, this is not recommended by Clove Technology as it can void the handset’s warranty. Any device modification is undertaken at your own risk.
