The best camera is the one you have with you–HTC One X

For a long time it has been said that the best camera is the one that you have with you.

It is not always going to be the case that you can have a dedicated camera with you and this is where smartphones such as the HTC One X come into their own.

The One X is a superbly capable smartphone, but it is also a very capable camera.

imageIt has an 8 megapixel camera that has an F2.0 aperture which means that it lets more light in than many other smartphone cameras resulting in better photos in poor light.

An intelligent flash detects the amount of light and distance from the subject and will adjust the flash to one of 8 setting so as not to over or under expose the image.

HTC have a proprietary image chip that allows for faster processing of photos and videos as well as generating high quality images with rich colours and excellent contrast.

Added capabilities of the image chip does too mean that within 0.7 seconds of picking up the phone you can be capturing images.  With a 0.2 second auto-focus time there is no lag.

imageThe autofocus is that good that you can take 20 pictures in quick succession.

Recording video in full 1080p, the HTC One X allows you to take still images and video from the same screen, no more switching between applications.  What’s more you can record video and take a photo at the same time!

Yes, as you record a video you can tap an on-screen button and it will record a image whilst it does too continue recording video.  O and for the smart ones out there, there will be no shutter sound in the video footage if you capture a still.

Don’t want the hassle of taking images whilst recording.  No worries, take the still image after the video has been captured.  As you play the footage back you can now press a button and capture as many photos as you like!

That is just the headline features of ImageSense on the HTC One X…we have not even begun to talk about the other media functionalities.  To find out more, check out the One X HERE.
