Kazam Tornado 348 Unboxing

There are a lot of numbers to get your head around with the Kazam Tornado 348. Not only is it the world’s thinnest phone at 5.15 mm but it also has an 8-core processor, an 8 megapixel camera to the back and a 5MP on the front.

Chuck in a single-use free screen replacement and a 36 month warranty (when registered) and Kazam have ticked quite a few boxes here.

kazam-tornado-348-heroThese and the other key specs include:

  • 5.15mm thin – Guinness World Records slimmest smartphone
  • 4.8″ AMOLED 1280 x 720 HD screen
  • 1.7GHz octa-core MT6592 processor
  • Android 4.4 KitKat (5.0 update due)
  • 8 MP main camera / 5 MP front camera
  • WiFi / Bluetooth 4.0 / GPS / USB OTG
  • 16 GB storage
  • Kazam Rescue remote care
  • Free screen replacement (one use only)
  • 24 month warranty – extend to 36 months when registered

What really sticks out here for me are the free screen replacement, 36 month warranty plus free case. If Kazam can do all this why can’t everyone else?

We’ll have A full review of the Kazam Tornado 348 very soon. If you’re already interested you can put your essentials down and we’ll let you know when it becomes available.

Sony BSP10 Bluetooth Speaker

Whether you are going away on holiday, at a friends or relaxing in the garden, there are times when a portable speaker can be of real use to us.

Enjoy better quality audio from the larger, more powerful speaker and do not worry about it draining your smartphone battery, because lets face it, most of us carry our music on our phones today.

Of course the Bluetooth connection means no wires so it is nice and simple, helped even more by the one touch NFC pairing process.

The BSP10 is the latest speaker from Sony that packs punch thanks to a 5 Watt speaker.  This portable device is capable of producing sounds in excess of 100 decibels and also can be used as a handsfree speaker for your phone calls.

What is also unique about this speaker is not the fact that it comes with a nice little carry case in the box, but the fact that it can be charged with a Qi wireless charging pad.  Of course the traditional microUSB connection is present, but if you want the neatest and most modern of solutions, sit this on a Sony WCH10 charging pad from Sony (or others) to keep it charged or remove it when it is recharged.

In the following video we unbox it and show it in action.
