First Nokia X Specs Revealed
A week before it’s hotly-anticipated launch in China, the first specifications of the Nokia X (X6) have been made public by the Chinese FCC-equivalent TENAA agency.
The new Nokia device will run on Android 8.1 Oreo, with a so-far unnamed 1.8GHz octa-core processor.
Internal storage options are expected to come in at 32GB or 64GB, whilst memory configurations are 3GB / 4GB / 6GB.
A 5.8-inch screen has a respectable display resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. Even though the Nokia X screen measures in at 0.3 inches bigger than the second-generation Nokia 6, the device is significantly lighter. The smartphone also has a cut out for the front camera and earpiece.
Alongside this, the latest Nokia device will feature a dual camera on the back. The primary camera will measure in at 16MP, however the capabilities of the second are not currently known. The front camera also comes in at 16MP.
Sensors available include a fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer and ambient light sensor.
Backing this up is a promotional image recently distributed by HMD Global, teasing a glass and aluminium design, a rear fingerprint sensor and – to the frustration of many – a notch on the front.
The Nokia X will be available in Blue, Black and Silver.
The big release is Wednesday 16th May – make sure you’re following us for updates!
