Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) SIM Free CloveThe words Samsung Galaxy conjure up different images in the mind for different people.

I think it’s safe to say that for most, these images are of premium smartphones – both in capability and price. Most likely, these thoughts are influenced considerably by the marketing of these desirable handsets, be that through TV and online adverts, billboards and high street phone shops.

However the Galaxy name is applied to a much wider selection of smartphones. Many more phones are ‘Galaxies’ than the yearly premium S or Note ranges. The name extends right down to the most cost-effective handsets such as the Galaxy J models.

Within the Samsung Galaxy lineup are the A series devices. In my mind these are not spoken about enough.

The A series have always been in a position just behind the S series. But in 2017, now more than ever do you get astonishingly good smartphones for the money.

The A5 is the higher-spec model. At a cursory glance I think you’d be hard pushed to tell the difference between this and an S7.

Yes, neither of these are ‘cheap’ phones. They are though much more affordable than the S range and still offer what many of us are looking for in a modern smartphone.

Not only is the build quality excellent, the performance is spot on. Samsung have also made sure their word-class Knox security software is available.

Consider the A range a solid investment for your mobile communication needs.
