russian flagThis is a notice for our Russian customers about a change in the postage methods offered to Russia.

Over the last few years we have had to make changes to the methods and services used to be able to get shipments into Russia.  This is in part due the increased regulation regarding imported items for individual customers, theft of packages and changes in services offered by the likes of DHL and FedEx.

As a result we have had to make further changes to the ways in which products are shipped to Russia.

Smaller and lower value items such as cases, cables, chargers and general accessories for smartphones and tablets will still be shipped by standard mail services.  These services are known as Airmail and International Signed Post.  They are offered by Royal Mail here in the UK and then handed over to the Russian mail services.

Depending on the value the service may or may not be tracked.  If tracked, the relevant tracking information will be provided at time of dispatch.

Packages can take up to 6 weeks to arrive, irrespective of your location, however deliveries to Moscow and Saint Petersburg generally arrive within 3-4 weeks.

For more desirable items such as smartphones, we have introduced a new premium express shipping option which is called ‘Hand Carry Service’.

This is a more expensive service at £150 per phone shipped, but includes ALL customs duties and taxes, a 2-4 day delivery time to Moscow & Saint Petersburg with on average 4-10 day delivery times for all other parts of Russia.  This service is fully insured against loss or damage during shipping.

No other shipment options are available. EMS, Parcelforce, DHL, FedEx or standard mail is not offered or made available when shipping to Russia, even if requested.

We understand that this new service may appear expensive, but does include all taxes and will result in much quicker delivery to Russia.
