Never knowing when to stop, he spends too much time in the office! He's very organised; writes lists, reports, spreadsheets, you name it, he's on to it!! When he does relax, however, he can be found driving his pride and joy (his Range Rover Sport), walking his Dog, down the pub or at a local restaurant. He does too like the finer things in life and often lives beyond his means, only the best hotels will do.

  1. How can that price be right for the T2 Ultra? That’s like 1/3 of the price of the Z ultra when that came out?!

Tough to say Adrian; cost of manufacturing fallen, use of older components etc. It is a cracking price though.
I think Sony are using a clocked down Snapdragon 400. At 1.4 GHz quad core it’s still a very powerful processor, although I expect it is now far cheaper to buy than the high end Snapdragon 800 in the Z Ultra.
That, coupled with a 720p display rather than a 1080p and what I now expect is a better integrated manufacturing process for Xperia handsets and there you have it. Big Savings!
Also despite still being very powerful, the T2 Ultra specs can now be lumped in at the “mid range” level in comparison to the flagships so it needs to be priced accordingly.
