Motorola have been doing some fine work under Google’s ownership, producing two fantastic devices in the Moto G and the Moto X, exclusive to the USA until now. Whilst recent news that Google have sold the Motorola mobile division to Lenovo has somewhat stunned many in the tech industry, we can only hope they continue the great manufacturing and design work that has led to this point.

Interest in the Moto X has been incredible, most likely brought on by the phenomenal success of the budget Moto G. Following on from this we are pleased to be able to announce a price drop on the Moto X today! Slashing £30 off the retail value, you can now pick up a Moto X for just £299 + shipping. This makes the Moto X a fantastic option for budget conscious buyers looking to get the most power possible for their cash.

Don’t worry if you have already placed an order with Clove; we will be refunding the difference to all early orders before shipping.

The Moto X is available in black with a 16 GB storage option. We also have a range of accessories available.

Initially we expected the launch date to be the 30th January. If you have been following the Moto X then you will have spotted this was yesterday. We have learned that the initial SIM free stock we expected had arrived in the UK, however required a firmware update before it was ready to ship. This has now been completed and stock is available – we will begin shipping orders from Monday 3rd February.
