£30 reduction off the Z1 Compact UK launch price from Clove

Sony Xperia Z1 CompactIt was only 2 weeks ago that we announced pricing for the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact, the slimmed down and resized version of Sony’s flagship handset announced at CES earlier this month.

Here at Clove we are now pleased to inform you that we have reduced the launch price of the Z1 Compact to just 332.50 + VAT. If you have already placed an order with us in the last two weeks then don’t worry, a refund for the difference will be applied before your order ships in February.

The Sony Xperia Z1 Compact is set to launch SIM free in the UK during February with a choice of black, white, pink & lime colours available. Make it yours with our choice of official and third party cases.

Unlike the usual ‘Mini’ versions of flagship devices we have become used to in recent times, such as those from Samsung and HTC, the Z1 Compact is not compromising on specification for size and price.

With the same 2.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor as its bigger Xperia brothers, the Compact is set to provide a seamless multitasking, multimedia and gaming experience on a smaller 4.3 inch display. The benefits of an IP 55/58 rating for water resistance and ingress protection are also still present, making the Z1 Compact a brilliant choice for the outdoors loving tech enthusiast

  • The battery may be small but so is the phone. The 720p screen should of course draw less power.
What is on offer though is pretty amazing for 4.3″ device if size is important. It is always a consideration with me.

    • I’m with you on the battery draw Andrew; comparatively this should make for an equivalent experience with the standard Z1
