We are now expecting to receive a limited amount of Sony Xperia T SIM-free stock tomorrow. This will be allocated to those of you that have placed a pre-order and will be shipped in chronological order based on when the order was placed.

We will then receive more stock throughout the week and expect to have stock available for new orders by Friday. Again, this will be shipped on a first come first served basis. If you are interested in buying the Xperia T but have not yet placed an order, we would recommend doing so ASAP in order to ensure the best possible chance of having one shipped out by the week’s end.

The Xperia T is Sony’s new flagship and the official handset from the forthcoming James Bond Skyfall Movie. Its standout feature is without a doubt the whopping 13MP camera. Alongside the camera, it also offers:

  • Android 4.0
  • 4.55″ touchscreen display
  • 1.5GHz dual core processor
  • WiFi
  • Bluetooth
  • 3G
  • NFC
  • DLNA
  • Sony PlayStation certified
  • GPS with GLONASS
  • 1.3 megapixel front facing camera
  • 16GB internal memory
  • 50GB cloud storage for life (sign up before 31st December 2012)
  • TV out via microUSB/MHL AV link
  • 1850mAh battery

  1. Hello, I am interested in buying this phone, however, I currently live in the United States, do you ship overseas? and if you do how much would the full price be?(shipping+phone+other expenses)

    • Hi Yaseen,

Yes we do ship to the United States. If you add the products to your basket and proceed to checkout, you can view the final cost. We also have a button for currency conversion. The total to ship an Xperia T to the States by DHL going by today’s exchange rate would be $585. This does not include any taxes you may incur at customs.

  2. Any news about the white version?

  3. Hello my friend, what time we can buy it. There is no button “Buy” on the sell page.
Also, can it ship to Nigeria by DHL?

  4. Hi. I am from India. Do you ship it to India? What will be the final price inclusive of shipping? Can I pre-order Xperia T? Since am outside your region.

    • Chris Ward says:

      Hi,

Yes we do ship to India. If you add the product that you are interested in to your basket, and select India as the country for delivery, you can see the different shipping options and total costs. At the moment we do not have the Xperia T available to order, but we do expect to have it available to order again soon.

  5. Hi, how long do you think it will be available to be ordered again? (eta of restock)
If i place my order now, when will I be shipped the item?

    Thanks

    • Chris Ward says:

      Hi Brian,

Unfortunately we have now heard that the arrival of stock has been delayed until 22nd October. If you place an order now, it will likely be with you on 23rd/24th.

  6. Vinay Vaiude says:

    Hello,

IF i have bought my Xperia T in UK , do i need to unlock it before we can use it in INDIA?

    • Chris Ward says:

No if you buy a SIM-free/International model, such as the ones that we sell, it is unlocked and you will be able to use it in India.

  7. Chintan Patel says:

    Hello,
i am dying to get this Xperia T, but as this phone has not released in International Market, can you clear some of my queries regarding purchase and product.
1st: is this a Brand New Genuine company sealed phone? will your phone work with Carrier of Indian Companies? is the Phone Unlocked and SimFree?
2nd: There is no Clear info mentioned regarding the Warranty, do you provide any type of warranty? Will your warranty work in any indian Sony Service Center?
3rd: what will be the final price including All Shipping charges and Everything?
4th: what are the ways for the Payment?

    • Hello
      1) The device is directly from Sony, unlocked and SIM free and will work with Indian carriers.
      2) Warranty is from Sony for 24 months however we cannot guarantee that Sony Service centres in India will cover the device as it is intended for the UK / EU market. We recommend contacting your local service centre in the event of an issue arising however in the event they do not cover the device then you would need to contact us at Clove to organise a return to the UK.
      3) The final price to Clove including delivery by international post would be 339 GBP. We cannot comment on any import charges the shipment may be subject to.
      4) We would require full payment through the website with a valid credit or debit card

  8. Hi,

I need an xperia t shipped to India.. Could you please let me know when would it be available

  9. How much time would it take to ship? And would shipping charges apply? How much would it cost me and do we have to unlock the phone after receiving it?

    • The phone is unlocked. Cost is £339 delivered with international mail. £24 of that cost is shipping charges. We can dispatch immediately.

  10. Great.. How much time would it take for the phone to reach me? And I’ll have to pay in Indian currency right?

    • It would take about 7-10 days. The payment is taken in GBP £ but your card issuer will convert the payment into Indian Rupees.

      • @Oindrilla I’m from Bangalore,India and I got myself an Xperia T too. I suggest you look for some contact you can find in the UK to get it in for you. You will end up paying huge customs if you have it shipped through courier. It’s not worth the trouble. Keep it as a worst case option. I bought from Clove in UK.

  11. How much did it cost you? The guy told me that I’ll have to pay the cost plus the shipping charges.. That’s what I was told.. Did you pay custom charges

    • I shipped to a friend in UK. So I paid local shipping and VAT. Clove won’t charge you customs right away. But the shipper might ask you to pay it before taking delivery. Customs is 30% of the value of the goods coming in. Not worth money so much.

  12. @jon: will I have to pay customs as well?? And will I get a proper bill along with it??

    • A bill will be included. We can not say yes or no to customs charges. If sent by courier there is a higher likelihood than if you send by mail as we quoted for.

  13. That’s a little too much for me..

    • Well, you’re looking at their high-end phone of 2012 and that is the money it’s gonna cost you! If you’re looking at something more lesser from Sony, check for Xperia J currently available in India. Or wait for upcoming releases, due in Jan 2013.

  14. You sure it’s going to release in India in Januar 2013.. I’m looking at that phone only.. That’s my target

  15. You sure it’s going to release in India in Januar 2013.. I’m looking at that phone only.. That’s my target.. But paying the customs and then getting it is too much of a hassle

    • I’m just an enthusiast. I cannot give you any assurance about upcoming products. At present you have Xperia J AVAILABLE. Go for it if you wanna buy NOW. It costs less than 20,000 is what I’ve heard.

  16. It’s ok thanks
