We’ve just dropped the price of the Huawei Ascend P1 to just £225 (£270 including VAT). This is a great price for a beautifully designed handset that offers a form factor not that dissimilar to the new iPhone 5.
Two of the stand out features promoted for the iPhone 5 are how light and slim it is. The P1 is slightly lighter – 110g compared to 112g – and almost as thin – 7.69mm to 7.6mm. It is slightly larger than the iPhone 5, measuring roughly half a centimetre extra in length and width, but still feels great in the hand.
Not only does that Huawei Ascend P1 have a nice look to it, it’s also well spec’d hardware-wise. Here’s a look at the main features that it has to offer, followed by our own unboxing video:
- Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)
- Dual-core 1.5GHz processor
- 4.3” Super AMOLED screen
- 3D User Interface
- Just 7.69mm thick
- 110g in weight
- 8MP BSI camera
- 5.1 Dolby Sound System
- MicroSD card expansion slot
- Corning Gorilla Glass screen
