If you are the owner of a HTC One V, you can now download software update 2.08.401.2 which as 46.77MB is a big update.

However within this update is support for the HTC Media Link HD that allows you to stream content to a larger HD display.

You can check for software updates on the HTC One V by selecting:
Settings –> About –> Software Updates –> Check Now

    Has no one told HTC? I got this reply to my query about One V compatibility with The Media Link yesterday:

      It might be your handset has not received the update yet.

      It is disappointing that service teams are not kept up to date with this sort of information.

    How to connect me htc to laptop using media link . My data cord is hdmi

    in tv connected but laptop is not connected
