Thanks for sharing those Vinay, some interesting stuff in there. Liking the Pink Panther speed drawing on the Note as well!
when i get your comments subscription email and click the link for the comments on chrome browser, i get a pop up alert warning that, “Warning! It appears that you are about to access a website that has non standard web address format. Such sites may contain harmful entities such as viruses. We recommend that you use extreme caution.”
Is there something wrong with your website. I have noted in the past too that the subscription emails for various stuff on your website when access on a mobile shows up as dead links when the links are clicked on my mobile. But when i access your site directly and navigate to the same pages then the pages are there. Something wrong with the way your website works with subscription alerts. Now today i accessed it on my computer and it is giving this warning. Not sure what it means.
Hi Vinay,
It’s probably just something to do with the way the security on your computer is set up. I often get similar warnings for websites that I know to be perfectly fine. It could be the fact that the address is set to ‘http://blog…’ rather than ‘http://www.blog…’ that is causing it.
Which alerts are you subscribed to? Post alerts or feedburner? I receive email alerts for both and don’t get broken links. We will soon be changing the subscription set up slightly so hopefully that will resolve the problem.
