ADzero–Bamboo Smartphone

Bamboo just got more interesting

image

Back in February we posted about the worlds first bamboo smartphone that was being designed by a Middlesex University Student Kieron-Scott Woodhouse.

Well a few months on and there have been a few tweaks in the design and a few new images have appeared.

This will be a fully fledged Android 4.0 smartphone that will appeal to the style conscious perhaps more than the power hungry user.  Whatever side of the fence you fall on you have to say it looks fantastic.

Little is known about the final hardware specs, possibly because it is subject to change.

imageAt the moment there is no confirmation on when the phone will be available or what the price will be, but the aim is to release it Q4 2012, possibly early 2013 and it is safe to say it will sit at the higher end of the smartphone market in terms of price.

We hope to get our hands on one in the future and bring a detailed review.

Leave a comment below if this sort of phone appeals to you.

About Jon

Constantly challenging opinions and looking for new opportunities, Jon develops the product ranges and business activities and very much strives to maintaining growth and taking Clove in to the future.

Never knowing when to stop, he spends too much time in the office! He's very organised; writes lists, reports, spreadsheets, you name it, he's on to it!! When he does relax, however, he can be found driving his pride and joy (his Range Rover Sport), walking his Dog, down the pub or at a local restaurant. He does too like the finer things in life and often lives beyond his means, only the best hotels will do.
