Pocket TV–The best yet?

Ever thought about turning your TV into a computer?

Maybe you have attached one, I have at home. 

Did you connect it for decent web browsing, a few games etc. or is that what you would like to connect a PC for?

More than likely it is…. But it isn’t very convenient in that you have an big extra box somewhere near the TV and unless you have invested lots of money and time it isn’t the best experience.

Maybe you connect your smartphone to the TV using an HDMI cable.  It might be quicker to load than a conventional computer and you have access to a lot of what you need.

Well imagine having an Android device constantly connected to your TV and just switching to HDMI to access this Android device and then browsing the web with the supplied keyboard etc.  Sounds pretty good to me.  It is a faster, lightweight but productive solution.

Over at Kickstarter a team have created the best example of this yet.  Check out the video below to see it in action.

I really like the idea.  If you are like me you want to share or show your family something online.  You can all huddle around the computer or your phone.  Hey you could even connect both of these to your bigger HD display, but it is a bit of a pain.

But imagine how much simpler it would be to just sit at your sofa and share it back on the big screen?
