It’s official: VLC Player coming to Android

There’s nothing more than the tweet below to go by at the moment, but it looks like the highly popular desktop video player, VLC, will soon be coming to Android. The tweet, from the official VideoLan Twitter accoun, reads ‘Android, here we come!’ – could a release be imminent. So far there’s be nothing more than an alpha release and some dodgy looking fakes on the Play Store, so even an official beta release would be warmly welcomed.
