Finally, some official news to share about the ‘next Galaxy’. Ahead of its May 3rd announcement, Samsung has officially revealed that its ‘next Galaxy’ handset will come with the ‘Exynos 4 Quad’ – a 1.4GHz quad-core processor that is based on the ARM Cortex A9. Talking about its new processor, Samsung has said:
Already in production, the Exynos 4 Quad is scheduled to be adopted first into Samsung’s next Galaxy smartphone that will officially be announced in May. Samsung’s Exynos 4 Quad is also sampling to other major handset makers.
The Korean manufacturer has also released a video to show the difference between its different Exynos processors, also making mention of the Exynos 5 dual chip.
