HTC Locations & Google Maps can work together to give you navigation like no other all on the screen of your smartphone. It is probably more powerful than the dedicated sat-nav in your car.
With HTC Locations integrated, you’ll get a much broader search database so you can find petrol stations, car parks, restaurants, cafes, even ATMs to name a few.
Navigate directly to an appointment. As long as you have the name of a business or an address in your appointment, you will be able to get directions. You can also search destinations by photo as well. Select any geo-tagged photo in Gallery of the place you want to go, and you’ll see the location on the map.
Staying connected
There may be times when you are driving and suddenly your phone rings. With HTC Car, when you receive a call, you can accept or reject the call on your phone’s specially designed screen with one easy swipe. You can also take or reject calls using the HTC Car Mic, an HTC accessory that clips onto your car visor and wirelessly connects with your phone. Of course you can too connect it to your Bluetooth enabled stereo if you have one.
No matter if you’re driving, HTC Car ensures you’ll always be up to date on whoever is trying to contact you. Whether it’s a missed call or a text message, a notification will show up in a driver-friendly viewing screen.
If you want to contact the person who just called or text messaged you, simply press the notification and dial out directly. And you’ll also know if the battery level is low on your HTC Car accessories such as HTC Car Mic and HTC StereoClip AUX.
