We now have the Motorola RAZR MAXX – the hulked up version of the Motorola RAZR – available to order on the Clove website, priced at £359 (£430.80 inc.VAT). Motorola announced its UK availability earlier this week and the first stock is due to be here mid-May.
Packing mostly the same feature set as the Motorola RAZR, the MAXX offers a huge battery of 3300mAh, which provides over 16 hours of video playback, up to 17.6 hours talk time and up to 380 hours stand by time. Of course, this does make it slightly thicker, but it still measures in at just under 9mm thick. It also weighs a bit more, 145g instead of 126g, but this does mean that it is one high end smartphone that you do not need to charge every day. The RAZR MAXX will come running Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, but the ICS update for it is due soon so it won’t be too long before it’s running Android 4.0. Check out the video below for a comparison of its battery life against other handsets.
