If you’ve always taken an interest in GT racing cars and have a few quid to spare, then luxury watchmaker Tag Heuer’s latest contraption may be the device for you!
The Racer is an Android-based super-phone inspired by GT and Formula 1 racing cars, and apparently engineered to the same standard. The shockproof rubber chassis is accented by lightweight carbon fibre and titanium screws, which gives the device added strength at the core of the body.
Though the above video doesn’t give much away the Tag Heuer will be running the latest Android software, so that’s Ice Cream Sandwich. There is enough to wet your beak with talk of a high-speed processor, but nothing solid. The Swiss company did not release more information about the phone’s specifications, except that it has a “customizable 3D user interface”.
