Ford’s Mobile Future

fordlogo2003As well as launching the event’s first vehicle, the Ford B-MAX, Bill Ford was at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona to deliver a keynote on his vision for the future of the mobile industry and it’s role in the development of smart transport systems.

Bill, executive chairman of Ford and Grandson of the famous Henry Ford, envisages a world where cars are constantly communicating with each other, transport infrastructure and cloud services in order to improve journey safety and efficiency

Is this one step closer to Fifth Element style automatic traffic? Or one step closer to sending abuse to the car that just cut you up? I’m personally hoping for both.
