Sony Xperia P: £315 (£378 inc. VAT)
Sony Xperia U: £199 (£238.80 inc. VAT)
At the moment it is the black variant that we have listed for both handsets. We will confirm the availability of the other colour variants as soon as we have the information. The black version of the Xperia U comes with black/pink exchangeable caps, the white version comes with white/yellow exchangeable caps. The Xperia P will be released in three colour variants, black, silver and red. As mentioned we will provide info on the silver and red variants as soon as possible.
Like the forthcoming Sony Xperia S (due the week commencing March 5th), the Xperia P and Xperia U handsets feature Sony’s new Iconic Identity. This new design approach applies to all handsets in the Xperia NXT and means that they are instantly recognisable. The design of the handsets remains the same, it is simply the colour and size that differs between them. A transparent element at the base of the phones creates an iconic silhouette, emphasizing and underlining the display. The element also integrates the phone’s antenna component and creates illumination effects. All three handsets will launch with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but will be upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich within Q2 2012.
