Microsoft Mocks Google

It’s going to take more than a cheeky advert from Microsoft to make me switch from Android to Windows Phone, but I can still have a laugh at it all the same. In the video below, MS has a pop at Google for killing off some of its apps (Buzz, Desktop, etc.) in an attempt to convince you that you’re better off using its own equivalent services, i.e. Microsoft Office instead of Google Docs. As the YouTube comments point out, the video is ironically hosted on a Google service.

  1. Mike Paterson says:

Groan….. MS when will you ever learn.

  2. I would have said the same had my Google Calendar not been so unreliable over the past 2 weeks. Who to ask at Google? I don’t pay for the service so I can’t expect proper support. And don’t get me started on iCloud- that is just terrible in so many ways. As for MS and the price of Office and it’s Cloud services… I feel an article coming on.
