Ok, so this has been well documented in the press already, but Sony Ericsson have sent out an email to customers confirming that they are becoming part of Sony, and promoting heavily the Xperia S, the first ‘Sony’ branded handset.
What is interesting is that Steve Walker, Chief Marketing Officer says that in the future we can expect more leading edge Sony capabilities and easier connectivity to other products and improvements across multiple screens.
It sounds like they are already working on some of these improvements. It will be interesting to see what these are?!
I like the idea of something similar to HP/Palms Touch to Share and more wireless streaming services…including compatibility with other brands, are you listening Sony?
We will keep you posted on the smartphone and mobile technology side of things and in the meantime why not check out the Xperia S from Sony HERE.
The image below is a copy of the email.
