We want smartphones to do more and work hard.  Sony have invested heavily into the new Xperia.  Fast charging is one feature that will be available as standard on the phone, 1 hour of talk time with a single 10 minute charge. 30 minutes charging and your phone will be at 80%.  After reaching the 80% the charge speed will slow until it gets to 100% to preserve the battery.
