We’ve just heard from Sony that the Xperia S will come with a MicroHDMI cable, so you’ll be able to connect the handset to a compatible display from day one if you do purchase it.

MicroHDMI is a nice feature to have on a handset and was a big selling point for the majority of the 2011 Xperia range. Sharing videos and pictures on a TV becomes incredibly simple, whether you want to use the phone as a means to play back movie files or just to show friends and family recently taken photos.
