Please read the following if you have an order in for or are interested in the 32GB models of the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF201 Grey or Champagne Gold.
Today we would like to inform you that we have had information from ASUS that we will be receiving stock of these at the end of January.
At this time it has not been confirmed exactly how many units we will receive of either the Grey or Gold colour but we are hopeful that we will be able to fulfil our backorders.
Some UK retailers have already received and shipped a handful of units, but we understand that they are now no longer doing so and that sales will begin once the shipment of Transformers arrive at the end of the month.
At this time we will not be charging you, we will contact you nearer the time to ask you to confirm the order. When we do ask you to confirm the order the price you will pay will be £415.83 excluding VAT or £499 including VAT (excluding shipping).
We have to been made aware that some units that have been made available in the UK market already have had some issues/faults. We would like to assure you that we are seeking further clarification on these faults and it is not our intention to provide units that could be faulty.
Unless you wish to cancel your pre-order we shall continue to hold your order and when we have further information we will email you again. We expect this to be during week commencing 23rd January unless the situation changes.
please advice when the 16 or 32GB Asus transformer prime is in stock uploaded with the Ice cream Sandwich operating system

We can’t say as to when we will have stock that already has the ICS update installed, but it shouldn’t be too long. We are expecting our first stock of the 32GB versions with keyboard to be here towards the end of January. We understand that the ICS update is due to begin rolling out on December 12th.

I’m seriously considering ordering the Prime from Your store, I just have a question:
A number of the Prime users are reporting issues with their Wifi (gps too, but that is not a dealbreaker for me), and ASUS seems to have abandoned plans to fix any issues, and instead, release a new tablet (the TF700). My question is: should the purchased unit have problems with wifi reception, would it be possible to exchange it?

We should be able to provide a clearer answer to your question once we are closer to receiving stock. We are hoping that the stock that we receive will have had the issues fixed already. In the case that it is faulty, we cannot always guarantee an exchange but will do our best to provide the most favourable option for a customer.

Unfortunately for reasons outside of our control, stock has been delayed until late February/early March.
