Instagram for Android Incoming

A few months back we briefly covered photo sharing app Instagram as part of our Smartphone Photography series. We pointed out at the time that, unfortunately, the app was exclusive to iOS, and it still is. But not for long.

Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom yesterday confirmed that an Android version of Instagram is in the making, although as of yet he has not given an indication as to when we can expect it to launch. In the meantime, perhaps check out Streamzoo, which, as Recombu points out, is perhaps the most comparable app available at the moment.
