Samsung Galaxy Nexus is Pentaband enabled

imageJust in case you had not yet been made aware how good the Nexus with Android 4.0 is, this news may highlight it to you.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus has pentaband 3G frequencies.  That means it supports 5 frequency bands, not just the two or four of the majority of devices today.

When you buy from Clove your device will pick up 3G/HSPA signals on

850, 900, 1700, 1900 & 2100 MHz subsequently meaning you can use it pretty much anywhere in the world!"

  1. Why oh why oh WHY are they hamstrining UK’s owners to 16GB. Yeah, I get Google is all about the cloud these days, but since Mobile Telcos aren’t playing ball and really limiting data usage these days (other than the super fab Giff Gaff) it is such a stupid limitation.

I have still pre-ordered one, but for me it puts it at a huge disadvantage over its main competitor, the iPhone 4…

    • I couldn’t agree more prupert. I can understand trying to push people towards the cloud, but it doesn’t make sense when the infra structure is not yet in place.
