Charge your Samsung Galaxy S with an HP Touchstone Charging Dock

This is an impressive modification from German IT student Qian Qin. Qian has cleverly taken the inductive charging unit from the back of a Palm Pre and attached it to the Samsung Galaxy S Plus, which enables inductive charging when the SGS is placed on a Touchstone charging dock. The Samsung Galaxy S even switches to multimedia mode when placed on the dock. We do have a few Touchstone’s left in stock if you do fancy giving it a go – Qian has put together this guide on his website which he says will instruct you to make the modification without voiding your warranty.
