Sony Ericsson 2011 Xperia Phones To Get Ice Cream Sandwich?

For anyone considering the purchase of an Android smartphone, the fact that Sony Ericsson has been so proactive with its Android updates is a strong selling point. This has just been bolstered by the news that devices in the 2011 Xperia range come with support for Ice Cream Sandwich and will likely receive an update later this year. While Sony Ericsson has not officially confirmed its intention to update its devices, a representative told SoMobile at a press event yesterday that this would be the case and will probably be made official in ‘October or November’.
