About Jon

Constantly challenging opinions and looking for new opportunities, Jon develops the product ranges and business activities and very much strives to maintaining growth and taking Clove in to the future.

Never knowing when to stop, he spends too much time in the office! He's very organised; writes lists, reports, spreadsheets, you name it, he's on to it!! When he does relax, however, he can be found driving his pride and joy (his Range Rover Sport), walking his Dog, down the pub or at a local restaurant. He does too like the finer things in life and often lives beyond his means, only the best hotels will do.

Comments

  1. Congrats to winners. Too pity, you didn’t appreciate my works. These ones are TOO standard.

  2. Gerard Makinston says:

Yeah, congrats. But it looks like you couldn’t win if you don’t live in an exotic land. With a good and interesting idea and also with a great performance…its not enough? Well those pictures are pretty interesting, but yeah, standard. Anyway, congrats!

  3. Congratulations to the winners, I agree too, that the selection of the winning photos is quite conservative and not very encouraging for all the people who think that photography is something more than animals and pretty landscapes. Personally, I think that the point of the competition was not to prove that anyone can take a picture, that’s quite an obvious fact that doesn’t need to be proved.

  4. Soham adhikari says:

Hope i had won as i really want a android phone but turly outstanding pics
    congrats to evreyone

  5. A Squirrel is a wildlife subject. The fact it is a great shot and shows how anyone can take a picture – the whole point of the competition.

  6. There’s a lot of squirrels in parks here in Russia, it’s not hard at all to take its photo. Even tigers (saw such a photo here) are more interesting. If it was not a squirrel, but a bear, or lynx – I’d agree, that photo is awesome. But squirrel… Sad to lose to such a common picture.

  7. Thanks for the comments Diljinderer and thanks for taking part.

  8. Sorry Diljinder,

I thought I recognised it as Diljinder but thought I better go with the way you had spelled it! Will remember for next time!
