Ahh this one has been a long time coming. The launch of the Motorola Xoom was staggered across the world and so were support updates. One of the most frustrating features for developers and consumers alike has been, despite a port and module installed on the device, the lack of Micro SD support due to the stock Android 3.0 firmware.
Our friends over the pond in the US had this fixed back in May and now it’s our turn. The over the air (OTA) update to 3.1 is now available in the UK and will enable the slot so you can enjoy expandable storage up to 32GB. Tasty. Along with our price drop last week, now is a great time to pick up a Xoom.
So do you have a Xoom and have you updated yours yet? If so was the process simple and how does the new functionality improve your experience? Let us know in the comments below
