Fujitsu-Toshiba announce world’s first device with Windows Phone 7.5 Mango

Microsoft signed off the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango code to manufacturers late last month so it shouldn’t be too long before a wave of new devices and updates start cropping up.

imageTo kick things off, the first confirmed device was actually announced the same day last week for the Japanese market from Fujitsu-Toshiba in partnership with Japanese network provider KDDI. The IS12T (catchy name) will be available in 3 colours and has a pretty impressive spec sheet featuring a 1GHz processor, 32GB of on board storage, water resistant casing and a whopping 13.2 megapixel camera. Sadly the chances of it being available outside of Japan are less than the UK getting more than nil pois in the next Eurovision Song Contest.

We’ll just have to wait for the usual suspects to officially confirm their Mango devices and updates for the UK/Euro market which hopefully wont be too long now
