Today we are taking a quick look at the camera application on the HTC Sensation.
The HTC Sensation has a rear facing 8 megapixel camera with dual led flash. The camera application is quite similar to the other HTC devices we have looked at.
So first things first at the top you have the digital zoom. Tap left or right to zoom in or out.
You then have a shortcut to the photo gallery, depicted by the blue/green photo icon.
At the bottom from left to right, there is the effects button (sepia, grayscale, depth of field etc.), flash, the shutter button (press to take a picture), flip between front facing and rear facing camera and a button for flicking between still image and video capture mode.
The image above on the right is what you see if in video recoding mode. The most noticeable difference being the big red button instead of the camera shutter icon. The other buttons remain the same.
In the camera application one of the buttons was for effects, and example of some of the effects can be seen in the above screen capture.
You do too have further settings that you may take advantage of. If you press the menu button the following will be revealed. This is where the likes of white balance, ISO, resolution and timers are accessed.
Similar settings are available from the menu when in video mode too.
That is the HTC Sensation camera application. Nothing revolutionary but enough to keep you happily snapping away for some time.
