This is one of the best specification smartphones on the market and you can now pick it up for £320!

This fantastic smartphone, manufactured by Samsung is Google branded and is as pure Android as it can be.
The difference? This version has an S-LCD display instead of an AMOLED screen and this leaves a price difference of £118 when you include VAT. AMOLED is usually argued to be slightly better, but when you are talking about £118 that is a big difference!

Indeed, a lot of folk would argue that the SuperLCD screen is superior to the SuperAmoLED. Amidst the usual xda bunfights, opinion seems to be that the SLCD is brighter, albeit without the pitch blacks that SAMOLED offers. Vodafone upgraded me to the SLCD i9023 a month ago, and it is a very good screen, it just really depends if you want your blacks Father-Ted-socks black.
I am really interested in getting the SLCD i9023, only hesitancy for me is the difficulties in finding i9023 cases.
The i9023 is slightly thicker than the AMOLED variant, but I found that a silicone case (similar to the Mizu) wrapped round it pretty comfortably. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the more closely engineered cases had problems, though.
A little discussion on it here, and someone managing to squeeze the i9023 into Case-mate’s Pop Case…

Anyone know the length of warranty offered by Clove for the Nexus S SCLD? I can’t seem to find the warranty period in the product webpage.
24 month warranty covered by Samsung. Applies in Europe. If outside Europe it would have to come back to the UK. Only 6 months on accessories.
