HTC ChaCha coming June 17th, HTC Salsa O2 Exclusive

We’ve had some good and bad news this afternoon surrounding the arrival of the HTC ‘Facebook’ phones.

The good news is that the first stock of the HTC ChaCha (pictured left) is due to arrive on the 17th June. The bad news is that the HTC Salsa will launch in the UK as an O2 exclusive and as of yet there is no indication as to when/if it will be available SIM-free.

Of the two we’re anticipating the Salsa to be the more popular handset with its BlackBerry-esque form factor combing perfectly with the dedicated Facebook button. It’s also the cheaper of the two with the price tag confirmed at £210 + VAT. Hopefully we will see the Salsa available SIM-free at some point, but either way we will be selling both official HTC Salsa accessories and official HTC ChaCha accessories.
