A tweet yesterday from HTC France has confirmed that the HTC Evo 3D will be headed to Europe at some point. Unusually, it is set to keep its stateside name, the ‘Evo 3D’.
A European release of the Evo 3D will come as welcome news to smartphone fans who have long come to expect such innovative devices from HTC. With HTC France confirming a European release of the Evo 3D, it seems fair to say that we are now even more likely to see a similar release in the UK, although this is yet to be confirmed officially. The tweet below from HTC France confirms a European release of the Evo 3D under the same name, but says as of yet a date is not available.

I presume you guys have reached out to HTC about this?
No comment from them or are you still waiting to hear back?
They haven’t confirmed but even if they did we wouldn’t be able to break the news to people. It’s practically confirmed by the HTC France tweet anyway – HTC need to release some sort of top of the range device in the UK to compete with the SGS2, Optimus 3D anyway so it makes sense.
