The LG Optimus 2X will be the first dual-core smartphone to hit the UK market and we are now expecting the first stock to arrive towards the end of next week.
Over the last couple of years, the LG range has been somewhat overshadowed by the likes of HTC, Motorola and Samsung, but with handsets such as the Optimus 2X and Optimus 3D, LG could well find itself back at fore of popular smartphones.
One term we’re starting to hear more and more in the smartphone industry is ‘superphone’, which describes the highly-spec’d set of handsets that are starting to hit the mobile market. With its dual-core processor, 8MP camera, 4-inch display and 1080p HD recording, the LG Optimus 2X certainly fits into that category.
