There have been a series of HTC 7 Pro reviews popping up on the web at the moment, no surprise seeing as this is one of the first Windows Phone 7 devices to have a keyboard and arrived relatively unannounced.
Some of the positive comments have been:
Fantastic hardware keyboard
+ Innovative spring-loaded tilting screen
+ Pocket to Picture camera feature works well with easy to use button
+ Great for Xbox Live gaming and Zune Media Playback – Pocketnow
Solid hinge and QWERTY keyboard – Electricpig
The angled screen is easy to see when the HTC 7 Pro is propped on a desk or held in the hand and we much prefer it to the systems which leave screen and keyboard flat on the same plane. – Know Your Mobile
Some of the negative comments:
Unfortunately, the problems with the HTC 7 Pro’s software and Windows Phone 7 in general become very obvious when you try to use it in landscape mode with the keyboard open. – Pocketnow
The 7 Pro has the same problem with video recording as all other current Windows Phone 7s; it doesn’t save the resolution settings and defaults to VGA every time you launch the video camera. You have to manually switch to the HD video setting every time. On the other hand, the video recording quality is quite good. – Pocketnow
We posted a couple of days ago a link to one review, but we thought what better way of helping you make a decision about the HTC 7 Pro, than to provide a link to all the reviews in one place, so here they are:
