Copy & Paste to return to Windows Phones

copy and pasteWindows Mobile was at one time the king of mobile operating systems, however in time it suffered due to lack of updates and soon Apple OS and Google Android took over.

Microsoft came back with vengeance with Windows Phone 7.  Completely new and fresh it didn’t resemble to old Windows Mobile and had the potential to succeed for consumers and business, if only it had copy & paste.

Copy & paste in my opinion is almost as important as having a 3G connection.  You just need it, not all day, not even everyday, but when you do its so much more efficient and to me it was a wonder that they could ever miss it out, but apparently for the 2 million that have purchased Windows Phone devices, that is not an issue unless they have been relying on the rumoured update to include it?!

If they had, then its good news for them and for all perspective Windows Phone 7 purchasers, there is an update coming soon, and it is official.

The update, which will be available soon (no news on the exact date) will automatically appear on your phone via a pop-up when it is available.

Not only will the update include copy & paste but there will be faster access to applications and games and better marketplace search.

With more Windows phones becoming available SIM FREE, lets hope the update comes soon.
