A bit of digging and logical analysis from the guys at Engadget has pulled up a nice surprise concerning the BlackBerry Playbook. According to RIM’s most recent earnings call, they expect the 10 inch tablet to be turning in revenue during the first quarter of their fiscal year. This begins in March which is also the end of the traditional industry calendar first quarter – which the PlayBook still has a somewhat official launch date set.
So if everything that has been said can be believed then we could all be playing with RIM’s fancy new tablet; with optimised QNX tablet operating system, in about 3 months time.
Clove will be taking pre-orders for the BlackBerry PlayBook once more detailed release information is available.
