The last few weeks has seen discussions over Motorola and the possibility of them bring a tablet to market. This all came about after Google’s Andy Rubin was seen handling it live t D: Dive Into Mobile (more info).
Just a couple of weeks on, they have now released what can only be referred to as a very strong teaser video. The short clip looks at Tablet evolution, from the Egyptian times up to the modern Apple iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab.
The video makes reference to CES 2011, which takes place in January, which I am pleased to confirm that I will be at.
Rather interestingly the video also features an animated Bee, which in normal circumstances would be a little odd, but seeing as one of the new versions of Google Android is code named ‘Honeycomb’ it does make some sense…..
The clip too shows Motorola’s new red logo, which will now be attributed to all devices that come through their mobile division.
2011 will be the year tablet’s evolve at the quickest rate and if you have not yet invested, you will want to.
Take a look at the video in question and tell me what you think.
Best piece of ‘teaser’ advertising I’ve seen in a long time, very clever.
