Samsung on the march?

With the in-house Bada run Wave receiving wave, ahem sorry, rave reviews, the Galaxy S I9000 set to do the same and upgraded versions already in the pipeline, Samsung look to have set their sights firmly on securing as much of smartphone market as possible. But why stop there? News has reached us of even more Samsung devices on the way!

The Galaxy 3 I5800 and the Galaxy 5 I5500 will both feature Android 2.1, the TouchWiz 3 UI and vary slightly in specification; the 5 being slightly smaller and less feature rich in terms of camera, audio/video capabilities etc.  Neither look to be the kind of flagship Android device we are expecting the Galaxy S to become but will certainly be tapping into a lower price point, the 5 perhaps finding a niche for those looking for a sleek, modern phone interested in social networking with the 3 focussing more on media (check out the DivX/Xvid support, a nice addition to come as standard).

 

 

 

Expect the Galaxy 3 and 5 to be shipping during July, read the specifications below:
