Swype for Android is now available

Good news, Swype, the text input method, is now available for Android users. Earlier this year we posted on Swype, how it works, and how quick it is for text input on a Touchscreen device. There’s also a video comparing it to the speed of texting on the iPhone. It’s now available from download from the Swype website, but only for a few days. It’s free and definately worth downloading. If you don’t like it, you can easily switch back to your normal keyboard. Head over to the Swype website now and get it while its still available!

P.S You need to register on the Swype website to download. registration confirmations are a little slow in coming through due to the volume of people signing up. If Swype came preinstalled on your device, such as the Samsung Galaxy S, you will not be able to/need to download it.
