TFT V AMOLED V Super AMOLED

it used to be TFT technology that was used on screens for mobile devices, but AMOLED technology was developed by Samsung and has started to become the must have on new smartphone screens.

Using less power but producing richer, more vibrant images the AMOLED display has been used on the Samsung Omnia range of devices and is also found on the HTC Legend and the hugely popular Desire.

But now there is a new version of AMOLED, Super AMOLED, better still this new and improved screen technology will be offered for the first time on the Samsung Galaxy S i9000 which is due to be released next week.

This video below details the differences and shows you some of the results you get with a device using an AMOLED display.
