The Google Nexus one if the first truly Google branded smartphone to be brought to market by the US search engine giant. Currently only available in the USA, it is expected in the near future it will be released in the UK and Europe.
As Google do not have their own manufacturing plant, they have worked closely with HTC in the production of these devices.
HTC have been working for 10 years producing smartphones and have often manufactured devices on behalf of other companies.
In a unique series, Google and HTC have teamed up to provide a number of short videos that explain the whole process of design to final production.
