HTC HD2 Extended Battery

htchd2extendedbattery HTC have this week announced (and released a teasing picture) of an extended battery for the HD2, with a kickstand. As it stands, the battery life on the HD2 is sufficient to get you through a day’s usage, but you can see HTC’s logic in offering even more battery life. With the kickstand (and capacitive stylus once it’s released as well) video-playback and web browsing on the HD2′s 4.3" display is set to become even more enjoyable, meaning you’ll need all the battery hours you can get. The extended battery and replacement cover will mean that the device’s thickness is increased slightly, but with the HD2 measuring only 11mm it looks like this will be a sacrifice worth making.
