Acer Liquid Processor Speed Under Question!

As we all eagerly await the release of the Acer’s first Androids phone the ‘Acer Liquid’ various internet sources have started to suggest that the 1GHz Snapdragon processor may not be so. This international ‘Acer?’ Liquid presentation slide does indeed suggest otherwise;

As you can clearly see above, it looks as if the Qualcomm-sourced CPU will actually be just 768MHz, which does raise the question, What is Acer’s reason for this? Perhaps the this will not discourage you to any great extent when selecting a new smartphone, but it seems reasonable to think that the Liquid will lag behind its 1GHz contemporaries when used side-by-side. Either way, confirmation of such stories are yet to be received.

    The Taiwanese PC vendor said earlier this month that the 3.5-inch touchscreen device uses a Qualcomm 8250 Snapdragon chipset with a 768MHz processing core.
